Farmdog Surf School offers several types of Surf and SUP Lessons– Private, Group and Camps.
Private Surf and SUP Lessons are comprised of you and your friends or family. Private Surf Lessons will always have a student to instructor ratio of 3 to 1 or less. If you want to Stand Up Paddle, Private SUP (Stand Up Paddle) Lessons can be in either Flat Water or Surf and will have a student to instructor ratio of 4 to 1 or less. We also offer Intermediate and Advanced SUP Eco Tours. In addition, when you enroll in a Private class, you get to control your class size. In other words, it’s your own lesson with no other people in your lesson other than those that you made a reservation with.
Private Lessons are available any day of the week, with start times at 8 am, 10 am, 12 pm and 2 pm.
Group Surf and SUP Lessons are comprised of people who are looking to make new friends and enjoy a quality lesson for a slightly lower individual price. Group Surf lessons will always have a student to instructor ratio of 3-1 or less. Additionally, by capping our group lessons at 15 people, we can provide the quality experience and attention that you expect and deserve.
Group Surf Lessons are available daily, scheduled around low tide. If the class fills up, we will open up a new class. Group SUP Lessons are available daily as well, at 9AM. Group SUP lessons frequently require additional travel to reach an ideal location to learn how to paddle. If your class gets rained out, we reschedule your Group Surf or SUP lesson into the next available class.
Camp Lessons are 3 days long, and provide fun and intensive course of instruction. If you’re looking to enroll some youngsters in a Camp while you’re on vacation, Farmdog Surf School offers several Surfing Day Camps for surfers ages 8 to 12 and 13 to 17.
The Camp schedule is weekly during the summer. Please check the Camps tab for more information on rates and schedule.
