If you already know how to paddle, a SUP Eco Tour is a great activity for the family. Farmdog Surf School Outer Banks offers some unreal experiences for Stand Up Paddlers in the scenic Albemarle Sound. If you are just getting started in SUP, or if you want some guided assistance to explore some stunning scenery, our beginner to intermediate SUP Eco Tour is the way to go.
One of our SUP Eco Tour is largely in Kitty Hawk Bay, takes over an hour, and can be accomplished in virtually any wind conditions. There’s plenty of opportunity for bird watching and the paddler can also see a wide variety of aquatic life including fish, turtles, crabs, rays and even the random garfish or porpoise.
In addition to the Kitty Hawk Bay Tour, Farmdog Surf School guides a fantastic Eco Tour around Roanoke Island Festival Park in Manteo. The Roanoke Island Festival Park Tour features the Marsh’s Light lighthouse, the Manteo Marina and the Elizabeth II, a replica of one of the seven merchant ships that landed here in 1585. You will paddle very historic waters.
Also, Farmdog Surf School offers a SUP Eco Tour of the northern edge of Cape Hatteras National Seashore. Here, you will paddle pristine bays and creeks with lots of wildlife. Previous tours saw dolphins, otter, sting rays, ospreys and more!
We transport the boards, paddles, leashes and PFD’s.
Guides recognize local sites and wildlife.
Additionally, Farmdog Surf School provides one guide per four participants, keeping the Tour safe and fun. Each guide is helpful for both your paddling skills and for learning about the history of the area. This is an amazing experience for only $75 per person.Book Now
